Thames Valley District School Board
High School Entrepreneurship Competition

The Pitch Point is a competition sparking entrepreneurial spirit in Grade 10 and 11 students across Thames Valley District School Board high schools. Students will create a two-minute video pitch presenting their product or service idea.

Submissions are evaluated by industry judges, with top teams advancing to the finals at Fanshawe College’s Innovation Village on May 27, 2026. There, ten finalists will deliver a 5–10 minute live pitch to a panel of professionals. The top three teams will share $2,500 in cash prizes, sponsored by Dancor.

This immersive experience gives students a rare opportunity to think like entrepreneurs, receive expert feedback from industry leaders, and build the creativity, problem-solving, and business skills they need to succeed in future ventures, careers, and life.

“Being a part of this experience was amazing and such a great opportunity to further our knowledge on entrepreneurship and represent our school. We recommend all high school students to persevere through the nerves as it truly is so much fun. All the staff and judges were so kind and great to work with!"
